DisTANZ

DisTANZ is inspired by our experiences during the corona pandemic: our fears and hopes, our nightmares and dreams. What it means to feel trapped while you are longing for freedom, to keep distance while you need closeness, to avoid touching and experience isolation and loneliness. At the end the protagonist survives but the echo of this experience stays in her body. It is a common experience of our time – not only during a pandemic.
