Graduated in Classical ballet at the Real Conservatorio de Madrid where he also studied Music and Piano as well as acting and singing. He went to London where he graduated in Ballet and Contemporary Dance at the Central School of Ballet under the direction of Christopher Gable, who also directed Northern Ballet Theatre and gave him his first professional contract to join the company.
In 1993 he took part of the International Dance Course for Professional Choreographers and Composers (founded by John Cage), under the direction of Robert Cohen, and started his connection with Contemporary Dance. He has been working in stable companies as well as freelance in England, Holland and Germany.
He was a soloist at Berlin Ballett/Komische Oper and worked with the companies Sasha Waltz and guests, Galili Dance/ Itzik Galili, Club Guy and Roni, MS Schrittmacher and Tolada Dance Company. Among others he worked with choreographers Amanda Miller, Dominique Bagouet, Meryl Tankard, Marguerite Donlon, Didy Veldman and Joachim Schlömer.
In 2004 he received the Mopix award for the best on screen performance at the Moving Picture Festival of Dance on Film and Video in Toronto in Norbert Servos' film “Elements of Mine”, co-production for ARTE/NDR. In 2012 he performed in the dance film “Spiegelingen”, awarded as Best Dance Film in Belgrade and Amsterdam Cinedans. With his first choreography “Donde nunca he estado” for the DanceLab Berlin festival “a/skin'” at the Academy of Arts he started his choreographic collaboration with Norbert Servos.
He created as well “En solo diez minutos” for Festival de Otoño in Madrid; “How it happens” for Komische Oper Berlin and the video dance “I think I've seen you before”. Together with Norbert Servos he choreographed for DanceLab Berlin “Solo For A Mad King – Cordelia”; “Drink, Smoke – Made in Havana”; “Valbarena”, “in\TWO SOLOS”, “El Circulo Eterno” and “H.K. - Quintett”, A project of TANZFONDS ERBE.
